Admission is offered to candidates who are qualified and are open to be raised in both academics and morals. We only admit students into JS1 and SS1. The College does not admit in JS2/JS3 and SS2/SS3. Read more details on admission.
There are two sections that made up a total of 670 students from Junior Secondary 1 through Senior Secondary 3. Attainment has been consistently ‘outstanding’ for the last twenty years.
Whilst we aim to ensure every child reaches their full potential academically, they are also taught that they can be successful in many different ways. This could be anything.

Admission is open to students into JSS 1 and SS 1 of the school. Dates for such examinations are published in the Leader and other Newspapers and posters sent out to the Catholic Parishes

The school has a magnificent Chapel, decent classrooms, equipped Science laboratory, Computer Lab, Modern Library, regular water and electricity supplies since it is connected to 2 bore holes and has two giant power generating sets to augment where the state water Board and Power Holding fail. The school also has hostels, refectory, bookshop. In addition, the school e-library is well-stocked with books which the students can access. The school incorporates ICT in the school curriculum. There are pitches for various games and equipment for in-door games for the extra-curricular activities of the students.
Evidently, HORICOL has come a long way. The school has had fifteen years of steady progress in infrastructure, staff and student population. HORICOL has become a giant tree that has provided shade for many. She has brought smiles to many faces and given hope to so many.
